UNSW Business Society’s Canapes and Cocktails Evening provided students with the exclusive opportunity to connect with a range of sponsors over cocktails and canapes in an intimate setting. This event was an essential stepping stone in helping students prepare for recruitment season.
Our annual Oztag Tournament did not shy away from being one of our most competitive sports events. Eight teams battled it out at Mason Park, fighting for the title but more importantly, fighting for bragging rights.
Throughout the day, players dodged from left to right, sprinting down towards the try line with all of this accumulating to the finals...only to end in a draw after extra time!

UNSW Business Society’s workshop with Citi allowed students to gain insights into the process of working on renowned deals and overcoming obstacles within Investment Banking. Attendants learnt more about financial services and how to address business decisions
UNSW Business Society’s Women in Finance Panel brought together accomplished women within the financial industry, allowing them to share their personal experiences and valuable insights. This was an empowering event that brought together female university students of all ages.
On the 29th of March, we were fortunate enough to partner with Beyond Blue to deliver our Wellness Picnic, aimed at raising awareness on how we can support one another and aid the lives of people with mental illness.
Students were given the opportunity to relax and wind-down from the stress of exam season, making charm brackets, decorating cupcakes and colouring in, altogether raising $450 to support those in need!
We hope all attendees enjoyed the time under the sun and would like to thank you the Philanthropy portfolio for their hard work in organising such a successful event. BSOC is looking forward to providing the student body with even more opportunities in the near future and hope to see you all there!
Over the first week of uni, BSOC held its annual orientation camp, aimed at fostering friendships and building lifelong memories that engrain the start of a student's university experience. And once again, it did not disappoint.
This year saw a fun-filled weekend packed with activities and games across 3 days; water fights, giant swings and of course, dance party. We hope we provided endless fun and laugher to all attendees and on behalf of the whole BSOC community, would like to thank you all for being a part of our adventure.
We would also like to thank the Social portfolio for their continuous effort and hard work, planning and organising a jam-packed weekend and we can't wait to see you at our next event!
