On Thursday, the 14th of April, the UNSW Business Society held ‘Phil’ Good Day’, in support of the World Wildlife Fund’s (WWF) Emergency Flood Appeal.
Our event offered the UNSW student community a range of activities and goods from our stall, as well as a special appearance from a few fluffy friends.
In under three hours, the Philanthropy portfolio was able to raise a total of $370 for the disasters which had recently impacted Australian wildlife across South-East Queensland and Northern NSW. The funds raised directly supports environmental rescue partners and vets in order to nurse injured animals and repair wildlife facilities damaged by the floods.
