Study Snacks
By BSOC Board
15/8/2020
Exams are well underway, and we’re all caught up in the last-minute grind. During these stressful weeks, there’s no better way to unwind than by indulging in a sweet study snack.
If you’re wondering what your next form of “productive” procrastination should be, don’t stress! We’ve asked BSOC board members for their recipe recommendations and have compiled a list of baked goods for you to treat yourself with after (or between) exams!
Banana Bread
“Since many of us are stockpiling food at home to save going outside so often, it is inevitable that some of our perishables will go off before we get around to eating them.
With that in mind, banana bread is a great recipe to make since bananas tend to go soft quite quickly once they ripen.
This recipe using the exact amounts will make enough for around 10-12 slices or servings. Feel free to modify the sugar levels if you find it is not sweet enough!” - Sophia
Our HR Director Sophia’s own Banana Bread Recipe is a great way to make use of any overripe bananas you’ve accumulated, check it out here.
Chocolate Chip Cookies
Next on the list – our Internal division’s VP Mon recommends this Tasty recipe for chewy chocolate-chip cookies. Complete with an instructional video, this recipe makes baking the perfect cookie foolproof.
